a day at the Framboise Manor Private Beach! and did someone say MERMAID???

we have our own private beach right on the north atlantic ocean. it is known by many locals by a variety of names - but we call  it the Framboise Manor private beach? why? because not even any of the locals ever go to it?????

that's true and sound truckdura parked at our own private beach. the sun was to die for.

here's one side of our private beach with the reef.

here's looking at the other side.

here's looking out a little farther.

the water was absolutely freezing...our friend captain crunch would have been crying.

not us - we love the freezing ocean water in august. look at those beautiful waves!

her's me - wif my noo teefs...and wearing a bathing suit only for this picture.

that bathing suit came off seconds after the picture. jambaloney wore his bathing suit to drive down to the beach and took it off seconds later. here he is naked fishing.

and naked swimming - it's the only way we swim!

he loves swimming in the ocean because he floats better in the salt water.

here's some interesting stuff growing in the sand with little blue flowers - we need to look it up to see if it is edible.

how about wild peas growing down at the ocean. any of you foragers will appreciate this!

holy crap! there we were minding our own business and a mermaid appeared!

although jambaloney thinks it was a siren because she yelled so much about taking good pictures!

kids - the mermaid tail has been christened by the atlantic ocean.

and by the atlantic ocean waves.

i was thrilled. and loved looking at the reef.

and looking at the sky.

and looking at feet in beach sand.

and watching jambaloney fish nekkid as the day he was born. and no - he doesn't care if you blow the pic up to 6 trillion pixels in order to see his bum!

then we saw the mermaid/siren head out to the ocean!

oh my goodness - she looked like she was having so much fun!

diving and swimming!

and diving and swimming some more!

then it was on to mermaid gymnastics which should be an olympic sport! hey synchronized swimming is an olympic sport!

more gymnastics!

a wonderful nekkid day at our own private beach with the jam man getting some sun, a nap and having a cider.

it's a hard life we live and we know it. but just to remind you all...and maybe make you think twice - we left lucrative, high-paying jobs in the city, and a beautiful home - to come here and live in the wild. we thought we were moving to the country - but we live in the wild. we've had to take in stray cats, build a road to our river, learn to garden in rocky, clay soil, live with bug bites from may until october...and alot of that sucked. but no one ever told us that we would get our own private beach.

serendipity kids. serendipity.

sending love to all of you. and being thankful for everything that we have and for all of our neighbours and our blog friends.

    1. Ed - we try to keep the nudity down to a "dull-roar" as this is a family blog....but sometimes, because we are nekkid all the time, we make some slips. we'll need you to remind us when there is too much nekkidity (i just made a word - bahahahah!) sending love buddy! xoxox

  2. Your tail is AMAZING!!!! You need to put the picture of you as a mermaid on the wall. And you teeth look fabulous. All worth the wait.

If we had our own private beach... well I am not sure I could leave it to go home to bed.

    2. Sol - thank you so very much - i am actually more pleased about my tail than my teeth - i always wanted to be a mermaid and who even knows if mermaids had teeth? bhahahah! and thank you about my teeth - my denturist really went out of his way not to make them like a picket fence and too white. and yes - it's hard not to build a house at the beach and just live there - but apparently you're not allowed to do that on publicaly-owned land - who makes these rules???? yer welcome to come and visit any time - we'll drop you off at the beach with a bag of apples, it's only about a 20 minute walk back to our house...you come to our place when yer done at the beach! xoxoxox

  3. All very well fishing nekkid, so why bother with a hat? Bwahaha

Think you're very privileged to have such a stunning mermaid - seems a friendly one too.

The teeth- wouldn't have known they were manufactured - they look so natural / original. Soooo happy for you 😀

    1. Dani - that's his "pirate bandana" - he wears it to keep his hair out of his face. thank you so much about the teeth - i am super pleased with them and am gonna take a few more pics to show how the bottoms and the tops don't line up completely, which makes them look more real, and that they are not pearly white, which is not normal for a 45 yr old woman to have. thanks Dani, i really appreciate your comments. xoxoxoxo

  4. I had to enlarge your photo so I could see the new teeth - you/they look great!! I politely refrained from enlarging any of the nekkid photos. ;)

    Love that tail....

    1. thank you so much Kelly - i was so worried about getting teeth that looked way too fake. my denturist was awesome. he told me that because of my jaw bone, that he would not line up the top teeth with the bottom and that makes them look even more real.

you can blow up the other nekkid pics - 1st Man below did - bahahahahah! xoxoxo

  5. Your teeth look great and very natural. I've been waiting impatiently to see them. :)
I'm considering having the same thing done. After 60 years of hugely expensive dental bills, and retirement looming, I'm thinking of just chucking the old teeth and going for it.
If you get a chance, would you mind writing a post about the pros and cons? Any probs chewing? I eat lots of raw veggies and crunchy stuff. Do they stay in good? Do they get stuff under them? Does the top plate gag you? I worry about that! Did you get little implant posts to hold them in? Any info would be appreciated.

  7. Pictures look lovely, ocean sounds awfully cold.

Are pink mermaids naturally occurring in nature, or are there other colored tails swimming around as well?

    1. thank you so much Perry - and yes - pink mermaid sightings are rare and wonderful!

jambaloney didn't get any fish that day - but he only took about 10 casts. he went out in the canoe in our river that night and got a beautiful white perch and 5 trout. pics coming. xoxox

  12. Wow, I had no idea you could actually swim in your mermaid outfit! I was really impressed, you look just like a real mermaid.

I wish we had a beach like that we could just go down to and nobody would bother us. I'm not sure that I'd go out waist deep in the water in the buff. There are evil fish and crabs and turtles out there, who might come along and snip off your essentials. >:0

Glad things are so mellow and you are over all that agony with your teeth. I like to think of you two up there, where all is tranquil. Everything is in turmoil down here because of the damned elections coming up.

    1. bahahah - oh thank you so much Harry! i actually can swim in the tail but i will be doing a post about how dangerous the tail is...if you aren't a really competent swimmer, and if you don't have someone nearby - it's a death trap. but thank you - i love swimming in my tail!

the only stuff we have in our ocean is some seaweed (jamie hates it touching him, i wrap myself in the stuff!) and some jellyfish - most of them don't even have stingers. so no worries about swimming in the water.

and you need to get yer butt up here - with or sans family. you need a vacation, too. come up for a week - we'll provide you with food, lots of naps, clamdigging, fishing, canoeing - you'd love it. and we'd love having you! sending love buddy, always. xoxoxo
