remember the god-awful cabinets that were in our tiny kitchen when we first bought the Manor? (here's a pic below...and trust me, they look A LOT better in this pic than in real life!)
and then our friend Barb stained them with a cherry stain to make them look better? (sorry for the bad quality pic!)
and then we finally replaced the bottom cabinet with a nice, white one and a beautiful red sink?
well, now we have finally finished painting the upper cabinets - woohoo! it really brightens up the kitchen and gives a sorta'-kinda' feeling of the kitchen not being soooo tiny! have a look:
it took 3 coats of primer and 2 coats of white paint - what a pain! but it looks so much better - don't you think?
i wrote on my plain, white and beige spice jars with a permanent red marker to match all of the other red stuff in the kitchen.
everything is still a work in progress but we are progressing. slow and steady. one job at a time.
