another one for Stephen

Stephen has been posting at his blog for a few days now...which is a definite sign that he is improving! all of his blog friends have been dropping by, giving him support and praying for him to be released as soon as possible. please stop in and visit if you haven't already, he's nearly going out of his mind with boredom and i think that we are going to have to bust him out soon.

i tried to think of something that would put a giggle on his face:

jambaloney out on the ATV plowing snow!

(Russell1200 - this is our first "staying" snow. )

  2. Glad to hear Stephen is returning to us. Keep it up.

Staying snow, eh? Darn, woman, you know how to rub it in HARD!!! Already we're into February and here I sit enjoying the sunshine yet again. Dec, Jan, Feb produces most of our rain. This year we're at 35% of normal. Next summer will be brutal.

    1. thanks Winston - that was sweet of you! i am sending rain wishes your way. i am glad that you are enjoying the sunshine but it sounds like you guys need some serious rain for the summer. i'd mail you some, buddy, but it would probably cost a fortune. maybe i'll just send jambaloney down in the ATV with a trailer full of snow.

*fingers crossed and prayers that you get rain, my friend*

oh and nice to hear from you!

  3. Kymber - Great to hear that your friend Stephen is improving and will be busting out soon ! Oh yeah - the boredom in any hospital can and will drive you nuts ... not to mention the crappy food. I read his awful story ... very close call. How frightening ! I do love HAPPY ENDINGS and his will be just that !

Stephen - If you are reading this at some point - I'm thrilled to hear that you're feeling much better, and have such a great friend as Kymber to talk with ! Do take care and all the best to you and your family.

Jambaloney looks like he's having a blast on the ATV ! It looks like fun to me ... hey, snowman time yet ? After our week of the "deep freeze," all our snow melted away as the temps rose way above zero. Now the grass is green and birds are chirping. Feels like Spring. Too weird for February !

Cheers my friend ... Helga xoxo

    1. oh Helga - he had a very close call indeed. and his poor Sweet Wife must have had the scare of her life. and yes - his story will have a very happy ending - i am sure. thank you, my friend!

jambaloney loves being out on the ATV plowing - he loves doing anything outside in any weather - he is an outside kind of guy! and i was going to save this tidbit until tomorrow's post - but - tomorrow we are getting our washer and freezer delivered - woohoo! no more washing clothes in the bathtub! so because the delivery guys are coming, jambaloney had to clear our driveway and out back. but he is good with stuff like that!

it is weird to have grass in february. i keep my eyes on the weather reports for where you are - ever since you said you were in such a deep freeze. i am sure the rest of winter will find you all out there soon enough.

anyway, me darlin', cheers right back at you and yours. and some big kisses and hugs for my dear friend. thanks for stopping in Helga. it's nice to know that you are there!

      xoxo

    2. Oh Kymber - A new washer and freezer ! WOOHOO is right ! Gone are the days of being hunched over doing laundry in the bathtub ... hello to modern conveniences ! I may well have lost my mind doing that for an entire year. Then again, I would have shed the clothing and opted for the birthday suit too ! BAHAHA !

Enjoy your day! Big hugs right back to you! xoxox

    1. bahahahaha! you kill me Joey...and always get to the heart of the matter! yep - for almost 3 months a year we have to wear clothes. which is why i want the solar/wind power set up...so that it can be boiling hot inside the house in the middle of winter and i won't need any clothes! bahahahahah! thanks buddy!

  5. Stephen is in Florida its a good thing you said that it was "snow" or you might have confused him.

    First staying snow? Wow.

I had relatives in Vermont who would show us pictures of 2 feet of snow before Thanks Giving. It seems like even upstate New York jsut above Pennsylvania, where I spent much of my youth, had staying snow by now.

  6. hey Russell - i am glad that you stopped in - i wanted you to see our first staying snow! and ya, poor Stephen has probably never seen snow and would definitely be confused - bahahahahah!

we are in this incredible little micro-climate that just doesn't follow the rules of nature?!?!?!? all of the new england states, new brunswick, mainland nova scotia, pei and newfoundland are buried in snow - but not us. it's pretty incredible. this snow should stay about a week before it's gone. i'll take more pics for you when that happens.

thanks again for stopping in. i really hoped that you would see this post.

  7. I know seeing that pic and your posts have cheered Ole Stephen Up. Thanks for posting the pic, I know that my boys would love for JB to pull them around on a inner tube with his ATV...they would have a blast in all that snow.
