Framboise Manor is a magical, mist-ical place when the fog and the mist set in. have a look:
see what i mean? you can't even see our mountain ridge of trees and Strachan's Brook has all but disappeared!!! it's been a misty, magical, foggy couple of days and it looks like we are in for a few more. so Helga, dear sister, no beautiful blue sky pics for you but i found something almost as good for you....diamonds!
there are diamonds to be found all over the Manor!
here's some diamonds on the chicken wire.
diamonds on the clover.
diamonds on the rocking chair.
black diamonds in the pond. these are leopard frog eggs filled with little tadpoles! welcome little frog babies - we'll be sure to set up a pile of frog houses all around the Manor.
diamonds on the pussy willows.
diamonds in the grass.
diamonds on the daffodil petals.
diamonds on a raspberry leaf.
diamonds on the grape vine.
lil' Frankie Blue Eyes...he's a diamond in the rough.
diamonds and a necklace.
another beautiful necklace...this one is yours, Helga.
this one is mine.
diamonds on the apple tree.
diamonds on the raspberry vine.
grass that is just dripping diamonds.
beautiful diamonds on the baby pine trees.
more diamonds in the grass.
another faery tiara.
faery silk spun from diamonds.
diamonds on the tree branches.
beautiful diamonds with a shade of rosey-pink.
after spending the morning searching all over the Manor for diamonds - it's time for lunch. a yummy greek salad with baguette for wiping up the olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing.
well, i hope that you all enjoyed finding diamonds with me. i tell you, this Manor is a very magical place!

ReplyDeletebig Bro' - it's true, you are a little weird but we all love you anyway - bahahahahah! i don't like cold rainy days but i do love warm rainy days.
Deletethanks DFW - i love taking the pics!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to all your postings and pictures, but this one is my favorite. You deserve to be guardians of Framboise Manor and it's land because you see and feel with your heart just how magical it is. It is all coming alive in your hands. Continue to enjoy.
ReplyDeletegmv - that is a really nice thing to say and i am glad that you enjoy the pics and posts!!! thank you! and yes, we try and be stewards of this beautiful land, we don't mow anything down except for our working areas and garden area, the rest we just let be wild. it is beautiful land to be sure...and magical. thanks again!
DeleteAnd you want me to come take the diamonds away?
ReplyDeletePioneerP - because we have had so much rain, there aren't any more diamonds. just big, giant puddles and ponds!!! we had to lay plastic on a bunch of beds and tires because i had just planted some of them last week and the seedlings wouldn't have been able to have survived. it's supposed to rain all day today and then finally stop tomorrow *fingers crossed*.
DeleteSo, I emailed you back and it won't go through. Then I was sending two more emails, so three total and one went through.... The one that should have gone last, of course. So sorry. What a mess and what poor timing!!! I've been trying for a good half hour or more. I've restarted my computer several times and nothing is working and now my Internet is acting weird. So frustrating. I hope this message works. I will have to try again in the morning. I just don't know what else to do right now and I'm freaking tired. Peace, my friend and do sleep well- there is no reason not to. Love michele
ReplyDeleteteehee. poor duck! sorry you have been having such a hard time trying to send those emails. i just got the ones you sent today, have read them and will consider what you have shared as i am getting my pots ready to transplant my tomatoes. i will respond properly tonight. lots of love michele - so sorry for all of this stuff!
