What ayurvedic tests on-line did you do?
I'll have to remember the ginger, garlic, vinegar w/mother and honey. I think I'll try it as a tea, it probably tastes pretty good. :)Tango's Going Onshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12952742146679076712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3136150101440535605.post-86531107424745060712011-10-31T16:16:21.446-03:002011-10-31T16:16:21.446-03:00Rob - thanks so much for stopping by. and hey - ev...Rob - thanks so much for stopping by. and hey - even if you don't implement this particular diet - maybe it will get you thinking about your diet and implementing small changes.

Helga, my friend - thank you. you seem to really understand the nature of the post. please try the allergy-food testing thing - it has really opened up our eyes as to what foods are best for us. and in Korea - this type of testing in naturopathy/homeopathy is thousands of years old. jambaloney and i tried it, and it matched up to our results with the Blood Test diet. go online and find the Blood Test diet and give it a shot. when you make comparisons between the two things and the ayurvedic medicinal diet - you may find astonishing results!

and please try it with pasta on your tongue. if you feel congested after eating pasta - i am suspecting a food allergy. try all different kinds of pasta - there may be some that are better for you than others.

thank you for your detailed response. diet is a very important part of our "preps" and we hope that we can help others become more aware about how important diet is.

PracticalP - keep re-reading. it is a little overwhelming to read. and it took us years to learn and to implement it. but i can't stress enough: garlic, ginger, cider vinegar WITH the mother, and un-pasteurized local honey. have those 4 things every day in an infusion (tea), or hide it in your meals. and you will build up strength, immunity and a very healthy digestive system.

Mr. Smythe - i am always honoured when you stop by. i am glad that you knew some of this stuff - so many people today eat in such an un-healthy way. i know that this post came off sounding "preachy" but that was not my intention. i just wanted to share what jambaloney and i have learned over the years.

Joey - like i said to PracticalP - garlic, ginger, cider vinegar with the mother, and un-pasteurized honey. i swear that if you take this as an infusion (tea) once a day - you will feel healthier than ever. and listen mister - get cooking! i mean it buddy! don't make me have to come over to Great Britain to kick your *ss becuz you know that i will - bahahahahah!

Matt - i have heard your interest and i will definitely do some posts about medicinal uses of spices. did you know that almost all herbs/spices have medicinal qualities to them?

dear friend, i promise to do some posts like that. i am very glad that you are interested! thank you!

Ed - these types of practices have been around for thousands of years. Far-Eastern and Middle-Eastern people have been practicing non-invasive medicine since the beginning of time. in these types of medicinal practices - you never cut the body open to heal it. and i truly believe in it. i hope that you will find out your blood type - just go and have some blood drawn. or if you have ever been to emergency or in a hospital - call that hospital and they can tell you your blood type. and then you can do the online test. i would love for a skeptic to do the test and see if it matches up.
thanks for stopping by and good luck with your house eh?

thanks to all of you for taking the time to comment. we really appreciate it!kymberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02607117635648274823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3136150101440535605.post-46773091023065270402011-10-31T15:56:15.357-03:002011-10-31T15:56:15.357-03:00I'm not sure the rational engineering side of ...I'm not sure the rational engineering side of me believes there is anything to the arm straight out pull up method with a bit of food in your mouth but I do agree that everyone is different when it comes to digesting foods. From what you describe, I may have the same blood type as you (I have no idea what my blood type is) because I work better with raw veggies and meat and less so with carbs and grains. I'll have to try out the arm method someday soon and see if I become a believer.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13214319366049620074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3136150101440535605.post-38861271278560188052011-10-31T15:48:00.632-03:002011-10-31T15:48:00.632-03:00Awesome post, kymber. Well done ... most interesting read !...Hey Kymber,

Well done ... most interesting read ! You should write a book of your own with all your knowledge - I see a potential best seller. Really I do ! Especially these days when society is becoming more aware of what they are eating and the source of that food. Although a trip to Costco always blows my mind when I see the really, really nasty pre-made junk dinners people actually buy and feed on ... yuck ! I always think about their poor kids that have to eat this crap ... I think too much.

We eat like kings around here too. My mother was a really good cook, baker, canner, pickler, beer maker, wine maker, organic gardener, and so much more. I learnt a lot from her over the years, as she was a trained chef and cooked her life away. Sadly, she developed Alzheimers and is now living in a care facility. We do speak about her culinary feasts at times, and she simply states," That was a long time ago dear. "

I cook each day much the same as you ... top quality foods... my grocery bill is Huge for just the three of us. Sadly though, my husband doesn't even know his way around the kitchen, never mind prepping a meal. I had a bug last week - I was brought a cold mushy bowl of cereal for supper. That's the extent of his cooking skills. He always says when he's retired, he'll learn a bit - like where's the butter kept ? Bahaha !

Kymber,I'm going to try your food allergy testing method - you never know. I seem to get a congested feeling in my head after eating pasta dishes lately ... well for awhile now, but I love my pasta ! I'll let you know of my results.

Thanks Kymber for writing all of the above ... say hi to Jambaloney. Have a Wonderful Sunday together !!!!

Cheers ... Helga :)Helganoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3136150101440535605.post-87195447571361086972011-10-29T22:26:49.716-03:002011-10-29T22:26:49.716-03:00Thanks for the post.
